This compound contains two nutrients, nitrogen and phosphorus, and belongs to the nitrogen phosphorus binary compound fertilizer. It is the fastest developing and most widely used compound fertilizer in China.
Monoammonium phosphate is dissolved in water, and the aqueous solution is acidic, slightly soluble in ethanol, and insoluble in acetone and acetic acid. At room temperature, it is relatively stable, but there is a small amount of decomposition at 100 ℃. When heated above 130 ℃, it gradually decomposes and loses ammonia and water, forming a mixture of ammonium metaphosphate and phosphoric acid.
Powdered products have a certain degree of moisture absorption. In addition, its appearance is similar to other substances such as ammonium sulfate and tartaric acid.
